Responsabilidades e atribuições

The FEA Head plans and reviews the current simulation activities (linked to Dev & RFQ work). Additionally, innovation topics in the field of numerical methods have to be identified.

To perform this function, the head of FEA must:

- Be an expert in the field of numerical simulation methods;

- Ensure the successful performance of all activities in the field of numerical simulation;

- Plan the future strategy and work out action plans;

- Lead and supervise the team/department members.

The position as leader of product testing implies:

- Taking care of close communication between virtual product testing team and experimental product testing team;

- Establish close loop between simulation and testing in terms of quality verification;

- Lead the testing team.

Requisitos e qualificações

Completed technical academic degree (eg. Dipl.-Ing., Dr.-Ing., Master of Sience, or comparable);
Experience with FEA;
Experience with project work and rules;
Experience in disciplinary and/or functional leadership;
Knowledge about FEA theory (nonlinear FEA, continuum mechanics, etc.);
Working experience with FEA sotware (Abaqus);
Experience in numerical simulations of structural parts made of polyamide (GRP), metal and rubber;
Design of components with respect to strength, durability, crash behavior and NVH performance;
Knowledge of production technologies and materials;
Knowledge of product testing methods and machines (Static, Dynamic, Fatigue, etc.);
High level of written and spoken English (minimal B2).
