Responsibilities and assignments

▪ manage and coordinate all ESH activities for the plant

▪ align and transform corporate and divisional ESH strategy into action plans and ensure implementation

▪ contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning)

▪ live and promote the ESH principles and methods (e.g. advise Plant Management on all ESH aspects)

▪ initiate and control investments for ESH equipment (e.g. training materials, external trainings, etc.)

▪ interface to segment, BA or division functions in order to gather local ESH requirements and demands and other feedback

▪ participate in and/or steer global or local ESH related and cross-functional projects

▪ conduct employee dialogues, personnel development and coaching

▪ represent plant at negotiations with responsible authorities concerning ESH issues

▪ university degree, preferably in engineering, natural sciences or related discipline

▪ proof of functional knowledge of occupational safety and environmental protection (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)

experience in industrial production processes

experience in leadership position

fluent in English and Portuguese
